How electicity bills are calculated in this covid 19 lockdown period in Mumbai Maharashtra by Adani electricity?

In Mumbai Maharahstra, Adani electricity group have not taken meter readings from past three months due to covid lockdown

They charged average bill amount based upon previous months usage in this period

And in the month of June, They took total number of units for 3 months and uniformely distributed that units across 3 months

And calculated monthly charges as explained above.

For example if your total number of units consumption is 2788

Then average number of units in April is 929

100*2.9=290.00
200*4.85=970.00
200*6.65=1330.00
429*7.8=3346.20
EnergyCharges=5936.20
FixedCharges=135.00
wheelingCharges(929*1.57)=1458.53
ConsumerCharges=7529.73
Govt ED Charges(16*7529.73)/100=1204.76
Govt Tax(929*0.2604)=241.91
Total Bill Amount==8976.40

So in the month of April your approximate bill will be 8976.40

But the above calculation is based on new tariff rates so the amount might be less than what you see in the bill

According to old tariff rates your bill will be around 9630

And if you paid any amount in this month say 2000. Your remaining due is 7630 for this month

Average number of units in May is 930

100*2.9=290.00
200*4.85=970.00
200*6.65=1330.00
430*7.8=3354.00
EnergyCharges=5944.00
FixedCharges=135.00
wheelingCharges(930*1.57)=1460.10
ConsumerCharges=7539.10
Govt ED Charges(16*7539.1)/100=1206.26
Govt Tax(930*0.2604)=242.17
Total Bill Amount==8987.53

So in the month of May your approximate bill will be 8973.53

From May 2020 onwards new tariff rates are applicable so the above calculation is approximately same

And if you paid any amount in May month say 2000. Your remaining due is 6973.53 for this month

So your total amount of due for two months is close to 14603.53

Average number of units in June is 929

100*2.9=290.00
200*4.85=970.00
200*6.65=1330.00
429*7.8=3346.20
EnergyCharges=5936.20
FixedCharges=135.00
wheelingCharges(929*1.57)=1458.53
ConsumerCharges=7529.73
Govt ED Charges(16*7529.73)/100=1204.76
Govt Tax(929*0.2604)=241.91
Total Bill Amount==8976.40

The current month (June) bill value is 8976.40

And previous month dues are around 14603.53

Total Amount due is 23,579.93‬

This is just an approximate idea how the bill calculation is done

And actual bill may differ from this calculation

And any consumption more than 500 units per month will be in higher slab. And bill amount will be more.
